Hey it’s not the fabled corded bosch, but its the best cordless jigsaw I’ve tried. The variable speed trigger allows full user control of speed ( I don’t want soft start rotary dials).
The weight is nice to keep the saw steady. Wish it came with a dust collector connector. The splinter guard pops out as easily as it pops in- I don’t use it.
I do keep the plastic plate cover. I use this mostly for finishing saw cuts in hardwood, notching decking, coping crown, and the occasional pipe cut where nothing fits better.
Not so great for spyder blades- the blade will jump out when pulling backwards. Takes care when applying english to the cut- watch to make sure the blade doesn’t jump off the roller groove.
Fantastic jigsaw. As good as a corded Bosch but this is better because it's cordless and the led light is extremely helpful. It's my second one because I didn't want to keep going to the work truck when I needed one in my shop.

I will say there is lack of dust clearing from the cutting view but ill deal with that considering the advantages.
