Tremendous product. More power than I need, great battery life and fast charging. I bought the kit of drill bits and screwdrivers and that was an excellent purchase as well with this product.
Makitas tend to be solid and long lasting. This is one of a long series of Makita purchases.
I had an older Li-ion Makita brushed drill and on its highest torque setting it would drive large 8" wood screws just flush before running out of torque.
This brushless one however on the highest setting will drive the head of the 8" screw over a half inch deep into a 4x4 (and could do more but my arm couldnt hold it still).

Its odd and takes some getting used to. How ever just the other say i was using this drill to drill through some ply wood. While doing so the hole saw got jammed.
but instead of snapping my wrist the drill stopped. I was very grateful. Its a good drill. i would recommend to any body.
