Just got these. It seems like a very good selection of bits. I have a similar set from DeWalt and I have to say that these are MUCH better because the damn holders rotate out so you can easily get the bits out, but more importantly you can PUT THEM BACK IN!!!!
I HATE HATE HATE how hard it is to put the bits back into the DeWalt case. Dont get the DeWalt set. This set is worth twice as much just for the better case.
Otherwise the bits seem to be of OK quality, but I havent put them through their paces at all, so I dont know.
I really like this bit set. Reasonable cost, good amount of redundancy, and a good case. My unit had a really odd issue where the SQ1 (smallest square) bit was somehow replaced with a H7/64 (smallest allen) bit.
So I had 2 H7/64 bits and 0 SQ1 bits. My package was definitely new (wrapped in hard plastic I had to cut to open). So definitely check yours to make sure you dont have this weird issue!
I went with the makita kit over milwaukee based on some research. So far, the bits are holding up very well. I use the flush mount bit the most. The bit holders are magnetic and have kept the bits in without issue.
Nothing has bent or broke under what id consider advanced DIY use. I drove a whole 5lb box of #2 4" exterior deck screws and the tip is not showing any wear.
I would get this kit again.

For example, the #2 phillips is so finely machined that I can hang my impact off of the end of a partially driven in screw without even using the magnet tip.
The magnet in the base of the nut drivers is worth it by itself, its nice not having to pick up lag screws over and over while trying to start them.
I do wish the magnetic attachment would work on the smaller bits, but I find myself using the longer ones most of the time anyway.
I went with these because Makita seems to have a good reputation with drill-bits compared to other brands.
Originally, people on reddit were recommending impact gold, but impact xps seems to be makitas new and improved bits on top of the already good impact godl series.
